Abit KN9 Ultra @ Phoronix
Phoronix reviews the Abit KN9 Ultra motherboard which supports AMD’s Socket AM2 processors and features Dual Gigabit LAN and IEEE-1394a. Phoronix gives this motherboard a score of 9/10 along with the Editor’s Choice Award and writes:
The KN9 Ultra was backed by phenomenal GNU/Linux support even when it came to monitoring the hardware sensors. The number of accessories bundled with the KN9 Ultra was just right with everything needed to get the motherboard up and running while refraining from including every possible accessory, which would not have done anything except inflate the price tag. When it came to this latest revision of Silent OTES, it certainly had done a remarkable job of cooling the Chipset even while overclocking. This near-perfect motherboard is moderately priced at approximately $120 USD.
