Titan Amanda TEC Cooler Review @ Pro-Clockers
Pro-Clockers reviews the Titan Amanda TEC cooler. This CPU cooler comes in two versions to support Intel and AMD CPUs. A PCI card is included to show the status of the TEC. Pro-Clockers gives the “Highly Recommended” award and writes:
All I can say is the performance of the Amanda is outstanding. It beat our site champs, the Scythe Infinity and the Thermalright Ultra-120 by a small margin. Not as impressive at idle setting the Amanda was right in the midst of the other coolers. The question remains, how often do our systems stay at idle? When the heat was on the Amanda decided to shine, beating the others by a few degrees.
The end results are pretty good, and definitely in favor of the Amanda, but for those on a budget the Amanda may not be your cooler of choice. It weighs in at about $100USD. That is about double the price of the TR Ultra-120. But for those that are out to get every last megahertz your system has to offer, the Amanda is worth taking a look at.
