Asrock ALiveNF6G-DVI Review @ Pro-Clockers
Pro-Clockers reviews the Asrock ALiveNF6G-DVI motherboard which features the NVIDIA NF6100-430 chipset. This board supports all AMD AM2 CPUs and up to 8GB DDR2-800 dual channel memory. It also features integrated Geforce6-class graphics supporting PixelShader 3 and DirectX 9. Pro-Clockers writes in the conclusion:
Regardless of the max overclock I would say that the ALiveNF6G-DVI is a better value than the AM2NF6G-VSTA as it does included the DVI card. This would give much better movie viewing quality than the analog input. And with the addition of the DVI card would make it more suitable for a HTPC setup.
And for those that plan on jumping over to MS Vista when released in January, you are assured that you have a 100% compliant motherboard that will make your transition pretty smooth.
With all being said it would be unfair to not award Asrock with these two awards on behalf of the ALiveNF6G-DVI. PC Best Value and PC Approved.
