EVGA e-GeForce 8800 GTS 320MB Superclocked Review @ Hardocp
Hardocp reviews the EVGA e-GeForce 8800 GTS 320MB Superclocked video card and writes in the conclusion:
EVGA has put together a fantastic product for gamers in the e-GeForce 8800 GTS 320 MB Superclocked. It is one of the highest clocked GeForce 8800 GTS video cards on the market and it has a great warranty and support plan in place as well as a step-up program that EVGA customers have been enjoying for a long while now. You must register your video card within 30 days of the original purchase date to receive the full lifetime warranty, otherwise it is just one year.
While 320 MB is perfect for users under 1920×1200, it is yet to be seen how Windows Vista and DirectX 10 games will affect this. Memory requirements are increasing in general, and a buyer should assume that games in the next couple of years will want, and benefit from, more than 320 MB of video memory. However, for the here and now, on current games, and for gamers that just can’t afford the price premium of the 640 MB GeForce 8800 GTS video cards, the 320 MB variants are an excellent choice as our gameplay evaluations have shown.
