Razer Pro Type Review @ ThinkComputers

ThinkComputers reviews the Razer Pro Type keyboard giving it a final score of 9 out of 10 along with the ‘Recommended Award’ and writes:

It’s about time someone has integrated an iPod dock into a keyboard! Almost everyone I know has an iPod and what an easier way to listen to their music if I can just put their iPod right into my keyboard. I don’t have to go look for my docking cable. The iPod dock is great, but like I said if you have a keyboard tray that slides out your iPod probably won’t fit under your desk.

The eye catching all white design is very unique and if Mac users don’t like the iPod dock they will love the white design. All white is nice, but it gets dirty easily. You can see all of the dirt marks and wear. I’ve been using the keyboard for about a week now and I really haven’t marked the keyboard up at all, but I can notice the littlest things on it.

All of the hot keys are a nice addition. The predefined ones are very useful and are the typical ones you see on keyboards that have hot keys. Besides those you get 10 hot keys you can program yourself. With the Razer software you can have up to 10 profiles so that gives you 100 possible hot key combinations! More than enough for any user! The blue illumination on the keys and the Razer logo adds a little style but does not overdo it.

The keys on the Pro|Type are very comfortable and make typing enjoyable.
