Foxconn P35A Review @ Hardwarezone
Hardwarezone reviews the Foxconn P35A motherboard which features the new Intel P35 chipset. Hardwarezone gives this board a rating of 4 out of 5 and writes in the conclusion:
Of course, overclocking isn’t for everyone and when you put these misgivings aside, the Foxconn P35A is a worthy update to its P965 predecessor, the Foxconn P9657AA/B. It has a slightly better layout, full solid capacitors and a brand new chipset generation to support Intel’s latest and upcoming processors. It may be a pain to configure to your optimal preference (inclusive of overclocking), but once you have everything running, it shouldn’t give you anymore problems. Priced at around US$135, the P35A will give budget gamers and general users some decent bang for their buck. At the end of the day, you ask yourself, do you want a US$300 motherboard that would probably give you 1-2% faster overall performance? Or get the US$135 P35A and keep the change for some other part that will make more of a difference, like a better GPU - or two.
